Dr. Laurence Hou’s Legacy Lives On

Compiled by Dr. Hou’s first mentee, Iris, this heartfelt tribute video was shared at Dr. Hou’s Memorial & Condolence Ceremony on 28 April 2026. It honours the profound, family-like bond he cultivated through a lifelong commitment to his mentees.

Since joining the HKU Mentorship Programme in 1998, Dr Hou guided 38 mentees. For him, the one-year programme was always just the beginning. His unwavering support, guidance, and sincere encouragement lasted a lifetime, transforming mentorships to true family ties.

As his mentees fondly shared:
