Being given a push

 
“I’ve found a friend in my mentor Philip, and I also enjoyed the networking with his mentees. I gained a push every time I heard of someone’s achievement or aspirations, which they shared with the group. An example was when someone shared a photo of Liverpool stadium, which they visited, and that gave me a push to love football even more so that one day, I can also visit the stadium, or even play in it. Philip is very patient and has a listening ear. He is always ready to give me advice. I am glad I got to experience the mentorship programme.
