Enjoyable conversations

“I benefited from my meetings with mentor, Henry (left). Although we only met twice, we talked a lot about his career, London, and academics in general. We also discussed my future academic plans, such as possibly of doing a master degree at the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Henry was a very enjoyable person to talk to. He was rather casual and this made our conversations more comfortable. It wasn’t too hard to set up a meeting with him despite his tight schedule, and he was open to meeting whenever I requested it. Overall, it was a really good experience, and I wished that we could have met on more occasions.

This picture was taken at Henry’s workplace after our last meeting together.”
