Can-do attitude

“I really admire Rumiko’s can-do attitude and her drive to see her ideas through into fruition. I also like how she continually seeks constructive criticism so that she keeps improving herself and doing things to the best of her ability. She is a very strong character, which is inspirational for a young woman like myself looking to achieve the levels of success she has already.

I have been inspired by my mentor directly and indirectly. Talking to my mentor about my ambitions and current challenges and getting her advice on these has helped to build ways around my hurdles and give me a greater passion to achieve my personal and professional goals. Furthermore, seeing her producing her own Opera shows has energised to me to work on ensuring my dreams can materialise and to embrace rather than fear creating my own opportunities in life, rather than following a pre-set path.”
