Compiled by Dr. Hou\u2019s first mentee, Iris, this heartfelt tribute video was shared at Dr. Hou\u2019s Memorial & Condolence Ceremony on 28 April 2026. It honours the profound, family-like bond he cultivated through a lifelong commitment to his mentees.<\/p>\r\n

Since joining the HKU Mentorship Programme in 1998, Dr Hou guided 38 mentees. For him, the one-year programme was always just the beginning. His unwavering support, guidance, and sincere encouragement lasted a lifetime, transforming mentorships to true family ties.<\/p>\r\n

As his mentees fondly shared:

Dr. Hou\u2019s legacy will continue to live on through the values, support, and encouragement he so generously shared. May he rest in peace.<\/p>\r\n
