Since its establishment in 2022, the HKU Mentorship – Graduates in Shanghai<\/span><\/a> program has fostered genuine friendships and supportive relationships between mentors and mentees who are recent HKU graduates. Mentees have not only received valuable career advice from their mentors but the mentor-mentee community and events organized together have also enriched the social lives of new graduates who recently landed in the city or entered the workplace.<\/p>\n

\u4e0a\u6d77\u7684\u5e2b\u53cb\u8a08\u5283\u57282022\u5e74\u5c55\u958b\uff0c\u800c\u5c0d\u65bc\u96d9\u57ce\u6545\u4e8b\u7684\u5be6\u8e10\uff0c\u65e9\u65bc20\u591a\u5e74\u524d\u4fbf\u5df2\u958b\u59cb\u3002\u6642\u5149\u6298\u758a\uff0c\u7576\u53e6\u4e00\u7fa4\u540c\u6a23\u4f86\u81ea\u6bcd\u6821\u7684\u65b0\u751f\u4ee3mentee\uff0c\u8ffd\u5c0b\u5922\u60f3\u7684\u8173\u6b65\u4f86\u5230\u9019\u88e1\uff0c\u96d9\u57ce\u6545\u4e8b\u5728\u9ec3\u6d66\u6c5f\u7554\u6709\u4e86\u65b0\u7684\u60f3\u50cf\u3002<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Beatrice: \u201cI enjoyed this year’s mentorship very much. This year was a bit different from previous years, as I delved deeper into exploring their emotional needs. I observed the challenges faced by young people, especially in balancing career and personal life, meeting others\u2019 expectations, handling family pressure, and navigating various relationships. An open, honest, and trusting relationship is essential for successful mentorship. Active listening and inspiring guidance are critical throughout the process.\u201d<\/p>\n
