\u201cMy mentor Louise Chan has extensive work experience, and she also obtained a JD Law degree so she understands my situation in studying law and can provide me with some career advice. Learning that my mentor studied her JD Law degree long after her undergraduate graduation, I realised how I should continually expand my skill sets through learning. Her experience also motivated me to pursue things that are new and challenging.<\/p>\n

I also had dinner with my mentor and her previous mentee Chris Yeung, who studied Engineeering. It was interesting to obtain different industry knowledge from them.\u201d Janice Thong (BBA(Law)&LLB Year 3)<\/p>\n

\u201cThrough HKU Mentorship, I was able to extend my network because my mentor, Ms Louise Chan, introduced me to a former mentee, Isis Li, who studied the same major as me at HKU and who shared many useful and interesting experiences. Louise also added me to a WhatsApp group, which involves past mentees from different professions.
