\u201cThe most precious gift my mentor, Ms Esmeralda Moreno, has given me would be insights. I have never been a person who would want to only stay in my own field of study. Esmeralda, being an experienced business player, together with her friends and colleagues whom I was fortunate enough to meet, have brought new perspectives to my life, which might seem a bit exaggerated but is exactly how I feel.<\/p>\n

Esmeralda shared things about her with me and also gave me advice on how I can be a more economically competent person, even before my career kicks off. I have long believed that talking with a person brings good because knowing the things they have gone through, the way they think changes how I see things and, most often, in a better way. I was therefore very pleased to be able to meet up with Esmeralda, her previous mentees and her friends.<\/p>\n

The first lunch together with my mentor brought us closer. We talked about our families, studies, career and, most importantly, life. Despite the fact that we have covered just a bit of all that, I believe that it is a really nice start and we will be picking up on the missing puzzle pieces every time we meet up and chat.<\/p>\n

I am pretty sure if I was not with her, I would not have the chance to talk to people from different areas that easily and, therefore, I regard this as the best “benefit” I have received in the mentoring relationship with my mentor.\u201d Stephanie Tang.<\/p>\n
